Typography

Most typographical rules and conventions were established in the days of hot metal type, direct consequences of the physical constraints of production. Now that there is freedom from many of the limitations of these outdated production methods, good typography still requires the blending of technical knowledge and artistic skill.

It does not matter if you don’t know the difference between typefaces and fonts, serif and sans-serif, or where to use italics, script, capitals, or mathematical symbols. At Empressa, we do that for you, selecting the fonts carefully to ensure the needs of the end product are met. We also pay attention to margins, white space, binding requirements and a whole bunch of technical considerations, depending on the end product. All to get the best result for your budget, and so that you need not worry about a thing.
